The NATIONAL ACADEMY OF ARTS & SCIENCES honored Leslie with an accolade for her Songwriter Performance on the Flaco Jimenez “Said & Done” CD. The CD won a 1998 "GRAMMY" for BEST TEJANO PERFORMANCE.

Leslie co-wrote a song for Flaco Jimenez featured on the Woody Allen movie, “Picking Up The Pieces”.
